Dr. Daiyuan Peng is a full Professor with the School of Information Science & Technology, University of Southwest Jiaotong University. He received his M.S. degree in applied mathematics and Ph.D. degree in mobile communications from Southwest Jiaotong University, China, in 1987, 2005, respectively. Currently, he is IEEE member, Senior Member of Chinese Association for Cryptologic Research (CACR), Director of Information Security and National Computing Grid Laboratory, Committee Member of Kay Lab of Information Coding and Transmission, Sichuan Province (2007-), Vice chairman of the Organization Committee of Chinese Association for Cryptologic Research (CACR), (2008-). He has led two National Natural Science foundations of China as Primary Investigator, and led two provincial research projects as Primary Investigator. He participates in various international cooperation research projects and national scientific research projects as co-primary investigator as well, including National Basic Research Projects (973 program), the National Natural Science Foundation of China and National Defense Pre-Research Foundation project of Science and Technology, etc. He has published over 80 research papers in various academic journals and international conferences, in which over 20 papers are published in the famous journals such as IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IET Communications, IEEE Signal Processing Letters, Electronics Letters, IEICE Transactions Fundamentals, SCIENCE CHINA Information Sciences and Science in China (Series E: Information Science), and over 20 papers are SCI indexed and over 30 papers are EI indexed. He has edited 3 textbooks for universities as well.
