Personal profile:

      He received his Bachelor’s degree in Railway Electrification with a second major in Computer Applications from Southwest Jiaotong University in 1997, and his Doctoral degree in Power System and Its Automation in 2003.He was exceptionally promoted to Associate Professor in 2003 and full Professor in 2006. He was selected as a Doctoral Supervisor in 2008. From 2009 to 2010, he worked as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA. In November  2017, he served as a Senior Visiting Scholar at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands.Currently, he holds the title of Second-Class Professor at Southwest Jiaotong University, and acts as a Guest/Adjunct Professor at Tongji University and Southwest University.

     The team includes 1 national high-level talent, 2 national young talents, 2 recipients of the National Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program, 1 Tier-B talent of State-owned Assets Administration Program, and 1 recipient of the National Special Postdoctoral Support Program.The faculty roster consists of:

       Academic Output

       He has published more than 200 papers indexed by SCI/EI, including 13 ESI Highly Cited Papers and 6 ESI Hot Papers. Among them, 72 IEEE Transactions papers have been accepted and published as the first or corresponding author.He has authored 4 English monographs and 1 Chinese monograph.He has been granted 87 invention patents and 5 software copyrights.

Education and Teaching: 

       To date, he has supervised 28 graduated PhD students and 117 graduated master’s students. Among his students, 46 have won the National Scholarship, 6 have been awarded the title of Outstanding Graduate of Sichuan Province, and 49 have received the Outstanding Graduate Dissertation Award of Southwest Jiaotong University.

        He developed and delivers the doctoral course Analysis of Nonstationary Random Signals and the master’s course Modern Signal Processing Technology and Its Applications. He also serves as the course leader for the undergraduate course Signals and Systems.
