Dr. Liu is currently a professor in School of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering at the Southwest Jiaotong University. He received his B.S. from East China University of Technology in 2006, M.S. from Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2009, and Ph.D. from University of Central Florida in 2013. Prior to joining SWJTU, he was an lecture at Northwestern Polytechnical University. Dr. Liu's research focuses on metal matrix composites, electric field assisted manufacturing technology, and hot oscillatory pressing sintering technology. Dr. Liu's research has been financially supported by NSFC, SKL, and Sichuan Province. He has authored/co-authored more than 100 journal papers.
