廖康，男，博士，1993年8月出生，四川安岳人，中共党员，西南交通大学地球科学与环境工程学院助理教授。2022年毕业于中国地质大学（武汉）获工学博士学位，期间受国家留学基金委资助于2021-2022年赴德国汉诺威大学开展联合培养。

目前主要从事库岸滑坡灾变机理、地质灾害风险评估、岩土工程不确定性量化等方面的科研与教学工作。以第一作者在《Landslides》、《Computers and Geotechnics》、《Engineering with Computers》、《Bulletin of Engineering Geology and the Environment》、《International Journal of Geomechanics》、《Journal of Earth Science》等期刊发表论文10余篇；担任《成都理工大学学报(自然科学版)》首届青年编委；担任《Applied Mathematical Modelling》、《International Journal for Numerical and Analytical Methods in Geomechanics》、《Bulletin of Engineering Geology and the Environment》、《International Journal of Geomechanics》、《Natural Hazards》、《Geomatics, Natural Hazards and Risk》等期刊审稿人；入选“2023年度国家资助博士后研究人员计划（B档）”。
