廖康，博士，1993年8月出生，四川安岳人，中共党员，西南交通大学地球科学与工程学院助理教授，硕士生导师。2022年毕业于中国地质大学（武汉）获工学博士学位，期间受国家留学基金委资助于2021-2022年赴德国汉诺威大学开展联合培养。

目前主要从事库岸滑坡灾变机理、地质灾害风险评估、岩土工程不确定性量化等方面的科研与教学工作。主持国家自然科学基金青年基金项目（C类）、中央高校基本科研业务费-科技创新项目、国家资助博士后研究人员计划（B档）。以第一作者在《Landslides》、《Computers and Geotechnics》、《Engineering with Computers》、《Bulletin of Engineering Geology and the Environment》、《International Journal of Geomechanics》、《Journal of Earth Science》等期刊发表论文10余篇；担任《Applied Mathematical Modelling》、《Ocean Engineering》、《International Journal for Numerical and Analytical Methods in Geomechanics》、《Bulletin of Engineering Geology and the Environment》、《International Journal of Geomechanics》、《Natural Hazards》等期刊审稿人。
