Faculty Profile

Huang Tianmin, both doctor and professor,  has been teaching in Southwest Jiaotong University since the year 1982. He was promoted to associate professor in  1992 and was exceptionally promoted to professor in 1996. Pro. Huang has been  master supervisor since 1994 and doctor supervisor since 2003. And he holds the  post of executive director of Mathematical Association in Sichuan  Province, vice chairman of  Mathematical Biology Association in Sichuan   Province, editorial board  member for Fuzzy Systems and Mathematics.   During  1993 and 2000, Pro. Huang was vice-  director, executive vice- director, and he was in charge of discipline  construction, graduate teaching, etc.. His research included intelligent  control, planning and management, optimization and decision, etc.. He directed  and completed two National Science Fundamental Projects and the two projects  were both evaluated as excellent. Other projects directed and completed were:  two national projects, three provincial projects, three main research projects.  And he acquired three utility model patents. Pro. Huang has published more than  50 academic papers on journals and academic conferences in and abroad.? He has been the reviewer for various journals  in and abroad. He published one book. He had been the exchange visitor in Calgray University during July and September,  2004.? Pro. Huang possesses long-time  teaching experience and he has cultivated masters and doctors for more than 30.
