主要研究高速铁路和城市轨道交通的信息安全，尤其在针对高铁和地铁列车控制系统车地信号通信的核心安全协议的安全性分析方面，前期取得了大量重要成果，并获批国家信息安全漏洞库证书。目前团队在该领域的研究处于国内领先地位。
