Faculty Profile

Fang Honglin is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computing and Artificial Intelligence, Southwest Jiaotong University. He graduated in 2026 from the National Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, with a Ph.D. in Engineering (Supervisor: Associate Professor Yu Peng). His research interests include intelligent network management and control, multimedia communication, distributed AI, and network fault self-healing. He has published 7 SCI/EI papers as the first author, including 1 ESI highly cited paper. He has long served as a program committee member for conferences such as IEEE BMSB and ICIPNP, and as a reviewer for internationally renowned academic journals and conferences such as IEEE TMC, INFOCOM, TNSM, TNSE, TVT, Network, ICC, and Globecom. In recent years, he has participated in 5 national/provincial-level projects, including National Key R&D Program projects, Key projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and General projects of the NSFC. He has also participated in more than 10 industry-funded projects commissioned by State Grid Corporation of China, Huawei, and China Mobile.
