    Profile

    Dai Baorui, male, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Smart City and Intelligent Transportation (School of Urban Rail Transit), Southwest Jiaotong University, and a supervisor of master’s students. He received his Ph.D. degree in Engineering from Tongji University in 2023. From 2021 to 2023, he was supported by the China Scholarship Council as a joint Ph.D. candidate at ETH Zurich and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. His research interests focus on vehicle–track–bridge coupled dynamics, intelligent vibration- and acoustics-based monitoring of structural health conditions, physics-informed neural networks, digital twins, and transfer learning.

    He has presided over several research projects, including a Youth Program of the Sichuan Provincial Natural Science Foundation and a General Program of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and has participated in multiple National Key Research and Development Program projects as well as General and Joint Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than ten SCI/EI-indexed papers as the first or corresponding author and serves as a reviewer for international and domestic academic journals such as Engineering Structures, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, International Journal of Mechanical Sciences, and Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing.
